This program focuses on developing group learning and preschool readiness skills, such as listening and responding, group participation, observational learning and sustained attention.
This program further develops age-typical-play, social skills, and continuing preparedness of those skills needed for independence in the school setting. Relationship development is emphasized by teaching skills needed for successful peer interactions, including social reciprocity, perspective taking and shared engagement. Skills needed for successful group learning are practiced through whole and small group activities, including problem solving, multi-tasking, self-monitoring, and group projects.
All programs use an interdisciplinary team approach, each child’s program is supported by multiple team members. Each professional is critical in achieving the best long-term outcome for the child. Placement is determined by individual needs of the child.
