Daily Therapeutic 1:1 Intervention Services - Individualized goals are targeted including reduction of stereotypic behavior, increasing tolerance, develop social skills, joint attention, play and communication. and involve individual and family treatment and parent education.
1:1 sessions of direct intervention ranges from 12 to 16 hours per week designed to promote communication, cognitive, play, social and self-help skills.
A full day's schedule includes: Speech therapy, Occupational therapy, ABA sessions, as well as potty training, self-help, independent living skills and sensory play.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques are utilized during all interventions. Important behavioral goals are targeted including reduction of stereotypic behavior, increasing tolerance, coping with stress and eliminating disruptive behavior. If clinically warranted, Treatment Analysts provide shadow support to children while they attend the program. The number of weekly intervention hours is determined by the individual needs of the child: age, functioning level, length of treatment, etc.
All programs use an interdisciplinary team approach, each child’s program is supported by multiple team members. Each professional is critical in achieving the best long-term outcome for the child. Placement is determined by individual needs of the child.
